What is a Laufhaus?

A laufhaus is a type of brothel common in parts of Europe. It is a building with many small bedrooms, occupied by independent sex workers, and clients walk through the corridors to browse the available prostitutes, often signalled by an open door, before approaching them to make an offer.

Difference between a Brothel and Laufhaus?

The sex workers in a Laufhaus are completely independent and, in theory, keep 100% of the money they make from their services. They simply pay to rent the room within the Laufhaus. What is it like inside an Eros Center?

Often in the heart of the red light district and surrounded by bars, nightclubs and casinos, you’ll find a number of walk-up bordellos. These buildings will be lit up red, especially the windows, and signs will make it known what’s inside… look out for ‘Girls, Girls, Girls’, ‘XXX’ or ‘Eros’.

Smile and introduce yourself, then ask what her price is. Ensure you completely understand what is being offered for the quoted price, asking questions to make sure there is no miscommunication. If you are not comfortable, simply walk away, the girls are unlikely to leave their rooms to follow you.

What is Artemis in Berlin?

Artemis is one of the largest brothels in Germany, a country where prostitution is completely legal. The huge building, which is four stories, can house up to 70 sex workers and 600 customers. You will feel like a roman emperor walking through Artemis, with lavish marble, sculptures, columns, red velvet sofas and painted murals throughout.

Downstairs customers will find the ‘wellness centre’ which comprises of a large indoor swimming pool, a sauna, plunge pool, a bar, non-sexual massage service (extra charge), a fully equipped gym, and a dark cinema playing non-stop porn.

On the ground level are the main changing areas and showers, the money exchange area, and a large bar and lounge where the majority of the girls can be found. At the back of the bar is the dining hall and doors to the outside patio and swimming pool.

What to expect in FKK Artemis, Berlin

Upon entering the Artemis mega brothel you’ll be welcomed by a friendly receptionist. After paying the fee, you’ll be given a robe and an electronic key which provides access to both a clothes locker and money locker.

The price for entry is €90 and gives you access from 11am to 5am, even if you wish to leave the premises and come back. Included in this price is the buffet meals, unlimited soft-drinks, robe and shoes hire, unlimited towels and complete access to the facilities. The only things you will need to pay extra for is alcohol, professional massages, and private time with the girls.

Walk up the steps directly behind reception and find your mini locker, a small box which is designed to house your phone and cash. This area is where money exchange happens with the ladies after each session. You can then walk into the changing room and find your clothes/bag locker. Remove all your clothes and lock them away, grab a fresh towel and shoes, then have a shower using the gel provided.

Tip: Press the flat black square on the wall to make the shower work – despite what it looks like, it’s not a sensor!

Once you’re all fresh you have the choice of entering the main bar area where your senses will go into overload as you’ll be greeted by a sea of beautiful naked women sitting and standing around, many of whom will welcome you with a smile. You can get a free soft-drink from the bar, or treat yourself to an alcoholic beverage, then take a seat and enjoy the view as you search for a girl that suits your fancy.

How much does sex cost in Artemis Brothel?

Prostitutes at Artemis are self-employed and set their own rates, however as a general rule the girls do collaborate to keep pricing fairly consistent across the club. This prevents girls from dramatically under-cutting each other and provides the customers with a better experience.

As of 2022 and based on personal experience, the majority of the girls working in Artemis will charge €70 for 20 minutes, which can include oral and sex with a condom. For €90 you can often get 30 minutes of oral without a condom and sex with a condom. Some girls will not offer oral without a condom. Touching of the body is usually included as standard, unlike in Amsterdam’s red light windows.

If you are looking for any extras during your time, such as kissing, cunnilingus, finger insertion or anal you should expect to pay significantly more. It’s important to note that extras are not offered by all girls and any request can be denied.

Prices can be negotiated, but generally this is not a good idea as you can easily offend the sex workers. If you are unsure on what is offered for the proposed price it’s important to ask – there is no need to be shy – the girls working in Artemis are professionals and have heard everything before.

For the most part you should never ask for a refund, especially if the expected service could not be provided due to erectile disfunction, premature ejaculation, or not being able to cum within the timeframe. With sex work it’s just a fact that sometimes will be better than others. If you have a significant problem with a lady you can respectfully and politely raise it with her, and there is always the potential to raise issues to Artemis management, however the ladies are not employed by Artemis so they may be unwilling to get involved.

What are the rules in FKK Artemis?

1. Be respectful

Be polite, kind and respectful of the ladies and staff at Artemis. Treat them as humans, not whores or robots. Be aware that the girls are there to make money, so allow them to pursue other customers if you are not paying for her time. Be mindful to clear up after yourself, such as in the dining hall and gym, and always place used towels in the laundry baskets. For obvious reasons, phones are strictly prohibited from the premises and must be kept in lockers.

2. Always be hygienic

It’s an unwritten rule that customers of FKK clubs should shower before and after each sexual interaction, ensuring they are completely clean and fresh at all times. It’s also important to be presentable, which could include trimming pubic hair and clipping nails. You don’t have to be attractive to have fun at Artemis, but you should make an effort.

3. Play time only at pay time

Whilst touching the girls may be absolutely fine when you are in a session with them, this does not give you permission to touch before or after the session. Unless a girl invites you touch her when not in a session, it is usually best not to. If in doubt, ask… consent is sexy!

4. No means No

Every working girl at Artemis, and in any similar establishment, has the right to refuse service without giving a reason. If a lady says no you should respect this, or expect to be thrown out of the club. This goes both ways – if you tell a girl no at Artemis she should respect that.

How do I get to Artemis FKK in Berlin?

Although Artemis is on the edge of Berlin, in an industrial area, it is very easy to get to using public transportation.

I strongly recommend using the S-Bahn, the over-ground rapid railway service within Berlin’s city centre. You need to get off at the Westkreuz station. There is a direct train which takes just 13 minutes from Berlin’s central station (Berlin Hauptbahnhof). One way tickets are usually only a couple of euros – be sure to validate your ticket before getting on though or risk a fine!

Once you get off at Westkreuz, walk out of the station and through the car-park. You’ll cross over a bridge and start walking down a path adjacent to a busy road. Keep walking, following the path for less than 5 minutes. You will not be able to miss Artemis, the large white concrete block with a large carpark out front and big signage.

Take the S-Bahn to Westkruez. It’s then just a 5 minute walk to Artemis, Berlin.

Local taxis are very familiar with the area and will be able to pick you up no matter how late it is, whereas the S-Bahn does not run 24 hours a day. If in doubt, ask the friendly receptionist.

Is Artemis Berlin worth visiting?

As one of Germany’s largest brothels (more than 4,000m²) and arguably the most famous, Artemis does have a premium compared to other FKK sex clubs across the country.

At €90 entry you’ll want to spend as much of the day there as possible to make the most of your money, but the facilities are fantastic in allowing you to do just that. With the indoor pool there’s no need to worry about the weather, the fully equipped gym is brilliant if you enjoy fitness, and there are plenty of dark corners to get away from everyone (including the girls) and be alone.

Artemis in Berlin attracts prostitutes from around the world. I met stunning young girls from Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Italy and the Dominican Republic. If you’re looking to ‘collect the flags’ then Artemis is a great place to do just that.

The price of sex is very fair for Germany. There is a slight premium, but you cannot compare the experience to a German Laufhaus, and I actually found the price of oral sex without condom slightly lower than other locations.

Due to there being so many girls working at Artemis at any one time, they are much more competitive than what you’ll experience in smaller FKKs in Germany. The food at FKKs is generally really good and Artemis is no exception. You can have at least two decent meals during your stay at the club, with snacks throughout if you choose.

On any evening, in the heart of Amsterdam’s Red Light District, you’ll find the lit-up Moulin Rouge theatre. Signs on the outside suggest live sex inside, but for a first-timer I wasn’t sure what I’d discover and somewhat expected to find myself in a tame tourist-trap.

After a nod to the massive bouncer outside, ensuring I was of a suitable age, I went to the ticket window where I was charged €40 and ushered inside.

Making my way up some narrow stairs, I found myself in a dimly-lit room with a stage in the centre. To my left were rows of benches, filled with people sitting and waiting, and to my right was a semi-circular bar. Loud music played throughout which had a fantastic beat, and strategically positioned blue/purple lighting made for a really cool and exciting atmosphere.

I made my way to the back of the room and sat on the corner seat of the bar, giving myself a perfect view of the stage. The attractive bar staff welcomed me and asked if I’d like anything. I requested the beer on tap, which was Budweiser. It certainly wasn’t cheap at €8 for the pint, but I wanted to enjoy myself so was happy to pay. I’m just glad I didn’t ask for a spirit mixer!

Act 1: Young Couple

A sexy young lady, probably in her mid- 20s and with an incredible body, entered onto the stage in lacy black lingerie. She walked to the edge where she picked up a folded mattress and started to unroll it into the centre.

An older man, probably in his late 40s, entered. He was wearing black leather trousers but nothing else, showing his significantly large beer belly. He wasn’t exactly attractive, so my initial thought was that he would be whipped and dominated by the actress.

The exact opposite to my expectation happened, and once on stage the man ripped his trousers off, his penis springing to action, and he took complete control. History of Amsterdam’s Red Light District

Amsterdam’s Red Light District, or ‘De Wallen’ as the area is known to locals, is the oldest district of Amsterdam – the capital city of The Netherlands. It was built around 1385 and has been notorious for the women inhabiting its streets ever since.

In the early 14th and 15th centuries Amsterdam was a trading city with a large port. This brought thousands of sailors to roam the streets of De Wallen, looking for enjoyment in both beer and women.

Although selling sex was originally legal, this changed at the end of the 16th century as Amsterdam became Protestant and the new city council forbade prostitution. Although politicians made many threats to the men who bought sex and the ladies who sold it, the threats proved to only be verbal. As such, Amsterdam’s Red Light District became rampant with an estimated one thousand prostitutes in the 17th century.

The occupation of the Netherlands by the troops of Napoleon from 1795 onwards saw a new phase of the Red Light District. Lavishly furnished brothels opened up, recognised by the red coloured lanterns by the doors. Napoleon legalized prostitution, although to help fight the sexually transmitted diseases which were becoming rife, sex workers had to be medically tested twice a week by the police and given a red working card if they were healthy.

As Christian movements got a tighter grip on Dutch society at the end of the 19th century, there was a lot of political pressure to oppose prostitution. Whilst prostitution remained legal overall, a new rule was made and enforced by police… women must not entice their clients from inside doorways. To combat this, an increasing number of prostitutes stood from behind a window, tapping on the glass to seduce men passing by. This is how Amsterdam’s Red Light District Sex Windows have come to be.

Is Prostitution Legal in Amsterdam’s Red Light District?

Prostitution is legal throughout The Netherlands, but Amsterdam’s Red Light District in De Wallen is the most famous area for it. Anyone over the age of 18 can legally visit a prostitute. Sexual relations with minors under the age of 16 is illegal.

There are regulations set out by the City of Amsterdam and sex workers are obliged to follow these. In the Red Light District of Amsterdam anyone over the age of 21 with a legal European passport or green card can become a prostitute. All prostitutes must register with the Dutch Chambers of Commerce and do an ‘intake interview’ with the brothel operator to ensure they’re independent enough to be working. Prostitutes in The Netherlands are considered self-employed and have to pay taxes just like anyone else.

An existing and designated prostitution window must be hired, usually at the cost of €150 for a 10 hour shift. There are approximately 400 windows found for prostitution, the majority of those are in the Red Light District.

How much does sex cost in Amsterdam Red Light District?

The ‘starting price’ for sex in the Red Light District is usually €50, although expect this to increase to €70 – €150 if you want to touch the prostitute, have her remove her top, or try multiple positions.

It is extremely important to confirm with the sex worker exactly what you want before paying her. There is no need to be shy as open communication is the best way to ensure you pay a price you are happy with, for a service you want. Unfortunately many sex workers in De Wallen will take advantage of you by slapping on hidden costs which aren’t discussed beforehand. I was charged €50 simply to touch a prostitute’s breasts, because ‘touching’ had not been in the initial agreement.

There is no fixed rate for a prostitute in the Red Light District. The authorities do not interfere with the price of prostitution visits. Prostitutes are self-employed and set their own rates. Price agreements are made between the prostitute and the customer.

How much money do prostitutes in Amsterdam make?

More than 2,000 men visit a prostitute every day in De Wallen alone, both tourists and regular customers. There is never a shortage of clients for sex workers to see.

Successful sex workers in Amsterdam entertain up to 16 customers per 10 hour shift and work 4-6 days a week. At a minimum price of €50, that’s roughly €2,800 – €3,900 earnings per week after paying for the room. Condoms, lube and beauty products come out of their own pockets, although much of this is tax deductible.

Sex workers in Amsterdam can easily make more than €100,000 per year, which is a major reason why girls from around Europe happily relocate to work in the Amsterdam windows.

1. Do not take photographs or film

De Wallen is a strictly no camera zone, especially if pointed towards a sex worker. There are plain clothed security working close-by who will happily throw your camera into the canal.

As far as adult visual novels go, College Bound is about as generic as they come. Don’t get me wrong – the game is a lot of fun and will satisfy your horny cravings, however, there’s nothing overly special about it… at least not in my opinion.

The story starts with you, a handsome young lad who has recently qualified for your college’s student exchange program to Paris. Luckily for you, your gorgeous blonde girlfriend Summer has also qualified. Despite her looks and age, Summer is a virgin, and what better place to deflower her than in the romantic city of Paris?!

With the obligatory plot twist early on, your Paris plans are put at risk and you must try to ensure you can still go. If you don’t you might miss your shot at shagging Summer! Oh no…

For a game set in a college, you sure do end up meeting a bunch of women who are not students. It very quickly becomes apparent that the developer, FOZ, has a huge thing for MILFS. The artwork is great in some places, hit and miss in others. Most notably, the detail on the character’s skin is wonderfully complex. This is not only refreshing to see in an adult visual novel, it also immerses you with a deeper sense of realism because they actually look like women you may know.

Sex in the game is quite good, and most of the girls are downright whores. Bianca, your girlfriend’s ‘best friend’ is constantly gagging for it, and you only need to sneeze and Aisha gets topless and asks you to play with her big Indian tits. The lady in the gym who invites you around because of her “plumbing problem” is rather cliché, but fun nonetheless.

My biggest disappointment with the game is that it lacks depth. For me, it feels like there are simply too many girls… you are constantly meeting them! This is wonderful for variety and keeps your dick hard in anticipation, but without time to properly interact with the characters it destroys any ability for an emotional connection. The story feels led by needing to put you in the position to meet new girls, as opposed to putting you in the situations which are natural to the story’s progression. It simply doesn’t feel right.

An adult visual novel which perfectly balances the thrill of multiple sex partners, a naturally progressing storyline, and a deep emotional connection with characters is Acting Lessons, by Dr Pink Cake. This game has players wanking when they start, and crying when they finish… an overall top quality adult gaming experience!

The major draw to College Bound is that the first few episodes are free, which has enabled it to achieve a massive cult following. It is hard to complain about something which you have not paid for, but having experienced a lot better, I am certainly not rushing to buy the remaining episodes. Maybe I would feel differently if I had a thing for older women with gigantic, sagging and stretched tits?

Yes, despite believing the game lacks depth and storyline, it’s well worth taking an evening to play through Episode 1. The game is free, so there is no major loss if you don’t like it.

I got through College Bound Episode 1 in 3.2 hours. This would usually feel far too fast for an adult visual novel, although Episode 1 is free and therefore it is difficult to complain.

What is prostitution?

Prostitution is the selling and buying of physical sexual intimacy. The term is most often used to encapsulate direct forms of sex work, such as penetrative and oral sex, but some people believe indirect sexual services such as erotic massages, lap dances and paid domination can also come under this umbrella term. A person who sells penetrative sex is known as a prostitute, or my also be refered to as a hooker, escort or sex worker.

Why do people use prostitutes?

There’s a school of thought within many religions that sex should only be performed for the purpose of reproduction. Whilst there is some logic to this thinking, because without reproduction there would be no humanity, there is a slight problem… humans LOVE sex!

People find sex pleasurable due to the pudendal nerve, which can be found in the penis, cliterous, perineum and anus. When stimulated, this nerve sends signals to the brain, releasing both dopamine and oxytocin, chemicals which cause a flood of happy and pleasurable feelings. The human body has literally evolved to constantly desire sex.

In many parts of the world prostitution might be a means of survival, or it may be a chosen career choice with the desire to provide a higher-than-average income.

Street-based sex workers are often associated with using sex to maintain drug habits, whereas brothel workers are more likely to view sex as their primary income.

Private escorts are seen to be the higher-end of the sex industry, and with benefits such as high hourly pay, exotic travel opportunities and free gifts, these women or men may also be involved in prostitution for the experience, the excitement, and even for their love of sex.

Sadly there is a darker side to prostitution in the form of human trafficking, where people are forced to be prostitutes but often see little to no financial benefit. This abhorrent activity ruins lives and should be reported to the appropriate authorities when spotted.

Why is prostitution a crime?

The buying and selling of sexual services is often considered a controversial sexual behavior and one which is completely immoral. This is especially the view of those with conservative or religious views, believing that sex for money is a sign of society’s moral decay.

Despite this, there are an estimated 42 million prostitutes around the world. It is important to note that immoral activity does not automatically equate to criminal activity, and this is where there is much contention across the globe as to whether it should be a crime or not.

Prostitution has been made a crime in many parts of the world, not only because it is seen as immoral, but also because of the bad parts of the industry. For example, prostitution is often shrouded in drugs, violence, the subjugation of women, and child trafficking.

In other parts of the world, governments have either been extremely liberal and legalized prostitution in all forms, or have simply turned a blind eye where all parties involved are consenting. Those in favor of legalized prostitution argue that when regulated properly, legal prostitution decreases crime and increases public health, whilst also increasing tax revenue.

Using data from World Population Review, I’ve been able to decipher and put into the following table how many countries globally (out of 162) have made prostitution a crime as of 2022.

Where is prostitution legal?

There are 87 countries in the world where prostitution is either completely legal or has some aspects which is tolerated, meaning that for a good portion of the estimated 42 million prostitutes globally there isn’t the looming threat of imprisonment for their sex work. In almost all countries, prostitution of minors is illegal.

None of the information in this article should be considered legal advice and it is important to do your own up-to-date research before visiting any of these countries with the intention of participating in paid sexual activity.

Where is prostitution legal in Europe?

Western Europe is generally very liberal with relaxed views towards sex. It is a common political belief in Europe that the government should not interfere with private matters, especially where nobody is being hurt.

Several countries in Europe have made all aspects of sex work legal and regulated. In the Netherlands and Germany prostitution is completely legal. In these countries you will find legal brothels, including cheap walk-up brothels, in every major city and escorts can openly solicit for clients. Prostitutes have a recognised occupation, pay taxes on their income, and can claim state benefits. Prostitution is also legal in Switzerland, Austria, Hungary, Latvia and Greece.

Many European countries turn a blind eye to prostitution, sometimes only actively enforcing a no brothel or pimping law. The buying and selling of sex in these countries is not legal, but it is not illegal either. Prostitution is somewhat legal in Spain, France, Italy and Poland.

Prostitution is somewhat legal in the UK. However, there are caveats to this. Brothels (defined as multiple sex workers working from the same premises) are illegal, as is pimping and soliciting in public. As a general rule, buying and selling sex in England, Scotland or Wales is ok if it is done in private, is consensual, and without a third-party being involved. Prostitution is illegal in Northern Ireland.

Prostitution in Eastern Europe is illegal for the most part, however these countries either turn a blind eye or have weak enforcement. In Russia prostitution is illegal and is punishable by a fine. However, the fine is only 1,500 rubles ($24), which is often criticised as nothing more than a slap on the wrist. Prostitution is illegal in Ukraine and Georgia but is widespread and generally ignored by authorities.

Where is prostitution legal in the US?

For the most part, prostitution is illegal in the US. Prostitution laws in the United States are set by each state, but there is little political willpower to change this. In the majority of the US, prostitution is punishable and it is a crime to solicit, arrange or purchase sex from another person.

Cops in the US will often set up sting operations to catch Americans who are looking to use prostitutes, with hefty fines or even imprisonment if caught. These zero tolerance policies can be found everywhere, including in New York City where escorting is illegal.

There is an exception to the rule, where prostitution is legal across 10 counties in the US state of Nevada. Brothels are permitted in these counties and are subject to strict regulation and federal income taxes. Despite Nevada being the home to ‘Sin City’ with a lot of open temptation, prostitution is illegal in Las Vegas.

The rules in North America are no different, with prostitution being illegal in Canada.

When people think of sex tourism their minds may instantly go to Asia. However, prostitution is technically illegal in many Asian countries including Thailand and the Philippines.

Prostitution in China is completely illegal, although Chinese authorities seem indecisive about how to categorise prostitutes, sometimes treating them as criminals and other times as citizens behaving with misconduct.

Japan has very interesting laws regarding sex work. Prostitution in Japan is illegal, although this is defined as vaginal intercourse. This loophole means you can pay for sex, so long as it is oral sex or anal sex. There are red light districts within Tokyo, and brothels are disguised as massage parlours or ‘soaplands’, where you pay for a massage and then if sex happens this was a legal spontaneous romantic activity between two consenting adults.

Whilst prostitution in Thailand and the Philippines is technically illegal, the government not only turns a blind eye but seems to actively encourage it, with many cities such as Bangkok, Pattaya and Manila having very busy and popular red light districts. Thailand is one of the top countries in the world for sex tourism and has been for decades, with little legal consequence to those who participate.

Prostitution in India is partially legal. You cannot openly solicit for sex in public, be seen actively partaking in prostitution, or operate or visit a brothel. As long as people are being private and both parties are consensual, Indian authorities seem to be accepting of it.

Where is prostitution legal in Africa?

The only country on the African continent where prostitution is both legal and regulated is Senegal. Despite this, some of the countries with the most prostitutes in the world are Nigeria, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Sierra Leone and Sudan.

Prostitution is partially legal in Ethiopia, with brothels illegal but this is not widley enforced. Prostitution in Kenya is a legal grey area, where it is not a criminal activity but you must not live off the earnings of sex work. Kenya is popular for sex tourism, especially for women looking to purchase sex and romance from men.

Sex work is legal in most of South America, with prostitution legal in Mexico, Columbia and Brazil.

Although South American countries have made prostitution legal and regulate their sex industry, there is a lot of prejuidice towards sex work and these countries use tolerance zones within cities to segregate this activity from the rest of society.

Sex work is not accepted in Islamic faith, which is the main reason prostitution is strictly forbidden in many middle eastern countries.

As the Middle East becomes more westernised, attitudes towards sex work are softening. For example, in Saudi Arabia a punishment for prostitution used to be flogging, however this has since been abolished by order of the Saudi Supreme Court General Commission, and instead prostitutes only face limited jail time or fines.

There is no outright prohibition towards prostitution in Israel or Lebanon.

Prostitution is legal in Australia, with escort agencies and brothels allowed to operate, although sex businesses must be registered and are heaviliy regulated.

Prostitution is completely legal in New Zealand. It is legal to run a brothel, live off the proceeds of someone else’s prostitution, and solicit sex for money in public.

It is extremely difficult to get accurate statistics of the sex industry, mostly because prostitution is either completely or partially illegal in so many places, and where prostitution is illegal the majority of prostitutes are not arrested.

Looking at data from a wide number of sources, including sex worker charities and the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/Aids (2016), there is an estimated 40-42 million prostitutes in the world.

Just like the thousands of horny players before me, I purchased Acting Lessons by Dr PinkCake with the sole intention of spending a couple of evenings enjoying a simple dating simulator with some high quality cartoon titties.

And just like everyone else does, I would soon come to realise that by making my decision based off a sexy trailer and cute images of girls in lingerie (aka thinking with my dick), I had made a huge mistake to underestimate this game.

Acting Lessons is an adult visual novel with an incredibly rich and immersive story, stunning characters, and plenty of hot sex animations.

The game centres around you, a recently heartbroken crypto trader, telling the story of how you met an aspiring young actress named Megan under unfortunate circumstances and decided to help her out of a tough spot.

Unlike other visual novels in this genre, the story is anything but basic and superficial. The writing is engaging, exciting and makes you constantly thirst for more. The characters you meet are deep, multifaceted and demand your emotional investment. The graphics are breath-taking and will have you hard as a rock for hours on end.

As the drama-filled story goes on you are given multiple decisions to make, including which beautiful women you would like to pursue. These are genuinely tough, with your choices permeating throughout the game and affecting the people around you. There’s a whole lot of sex you could have… but at what cost to your relationships?

I would imagine most horny players try to fuck as many women as possible in their first play through. This is exactly what I did. However as the strong emotional connections between me and the characters kept forming I started to feel genuinely guilty about cheating on my girlfriend Megan, and started to wonder if the ending I would receive would be a positive one, or whether I’d be punished for the scumbag I am.

Whilst Acting Lessons is an adult game, in that it’s packed with realistic nudity and phenominal sex scenes, it’s also adult in that it is emotionally intricate. The story will draw you in and your heart will be pounded by the incredible highs and devastating lows. The game’s description boasts that many players can only find the strength to play it once, with hundreds of reviewers claiming it made them cry.

Most scenes within adult visual novels are the same regurgitated sexual fantasies, and although Acting Lessons does play into this, such as a sexy nurse fluffing your pillow whilst you lie in a hospital bed staring down her clevage, it goes so much further. There are countless locations within the story, from the local spa where the girls show off their bikini bodies, to the improv school classroom where you can flirt and tease, to the secluded holiday cabin which you share with five gorgeous girls.

There are seven girls within the game, all of whom you can have fun with. Each with their own unique style, body type, hair colour and breast size, you’re likely to be left very satisfied no matter your taste. However, it is notable that there are no plus size women and the girls are only of white ethnicity.

The sex positions and animations are different with each character and scene, providing both realism and prevents boredom from repetition. The graphics are strong and you can almost feel the softness of the girl’s skin as they bounce on top of you. That being said, the ejaculation scenes do feel a bit janky, as do closeups of the women’s labia during cunninglingus. Overall though I was extremely impressed!

Your decisions have a significant impact on your game and the ending, however all players still experience the same general storyline. Once you know what happens you are unlikely to feel the same emotions a second time round. For this reason, the replayability is limited. The game does have a gallery feature though, which allows you to rewatch the sex scenes you discover within your playthroughs. This also highlights scenes which you have missed, but doesn’t tell you how or where to get them, giving you a reason to go through again and again until you have unlocked all the sexy scenes waiting for you.

I absolutely loved Acting Lessons by Dr PinkCake. The graphics are great although there’s areas for improvement, the pacing can feel a bit off at times, and players who are simply looking for a porn game will hate how the second half feels completely different to the first. Overall though I sincerely believe this is one of the best adult visual novels on the market right now and highly recommend.
