What are FKK Sauna Clubs?
There is often lots of confusion around FKK Sauna Clubs, especially with tourists.
One of the main reasons for confusion is the use of the term ‘FKK’ and whether it relates to sex and legal brothels, or is simply about innocent and celebrated public nudity.
FKK Sauna Clubs are brothels with wellness facilities for the visitors, including saunas. The prostitutes in these clubs are always naked, whereas men often wear towels or robes.
It can be difficult to understand the nuances involved, but it’s important to be aware so you do not make an embarrassing mistake.
FKK Sauna Clubs are mostly situated in Germany, however they can also be found in Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Czech Republic.
What is FKK?
FKK, or Freikörperkultur, is a German word meaning ‘Free Body Culture’.
Free Body Culture is basically the same as naturism, meaning you like to spend your time nude, sometimes in public. However, in Germany it is considered as more of a movement and part of everyday life, which is strongly embedded in the country’s culture.
At its core, FKK has no association with sex. The FKK movement is based around the assertion that there is no shame about the naked human body.
There are many FKK beaches and resorts across Germany. It is estimated that between 8 and 12 million Germans actively engage in nudism.
What’s the difference between FKK and FKK Sauna Clubs?
FKK on its own is likely to be referring to a standard naturist venue, where visitors can enjoy their time in the nude. These include private resorts, campsites, or beach locations. There is nothing sexual about these venues and they will often attract people of all ages.
An FKK Sauna Club is a type of brothel, where paid sex takes place. In many ways, it is wrong of these venues to use the Free Body Culture terminology, as the venues are less about enjoying public nudity and much more about getting laid.
FKK Sauna Clubs may be referred to as simply ‘FKK’ or even ‘FKK Club’. Whilst public nudity is celebrated in Germany, public sex is frowned upon. It is therefore very important to be careful you know what to expect.
What to expect at an FKK Sauna Club
An FKK Sauna Club is the same as an FKK Sex Club, so you’ll want to be prepared for a day of X-rated adult entertainment.
Upon arrival you will be asked to pay an entrance fee. This fee will entitle you to use the facilities at the club, including the sauna. Most FKK Sauna Clubs will also have at least one swimming pool and a bar which serves unlimited free soft drinks. The entrance ticket usually provides you with free meals whilst you’re still at the club too.
There will always be a changing room where visitors can lock their clothes and belongings away, have a shower and wear either a towel or a robe.
You can then enjoy the facilities on offer, or speak to any of the ladies walking around who will either be completely naked or topless. If there’s a special event happening the ladies may be in sexy costumes or lingerie. The ladies are not included in the entrance price and you will need to negotiate with them individually.
Simply find a lady you want to have sex with and approach her. In my experience, almost all the sex workers in German and Austrian FKK clubs speak great English and there is rarely a problem with communication. FKK Sex Clubs have bedrooms on-site, meaning you’ll have somewhere comfortable and private to have fun. Sexual activity is usually done on fresh towels for cleanliness, and the ladies will provide condoms and lube.
FKK Sauna Clubs will allow you to stay from opening to closing time, meaning you can enjoy multiple girls within a single day… I had sex with 5 girls in 1 day at FKK Artemis.

Why do people visit FKK Sex Clubs?
With prostitution fully legalized, Germany and Austria are full of brothels. It is simple to visit a bordello, pay a lady a fee for a set amount of time, have sex, and leave.
FKK Sex Clubs are technically brothels, but there is a significant difference in the visitor’s experience.
An FKK club wants visitors to pay a high entrance fee, and then keep them there for as long as possible so they purchase expensive alcohol and enjoy the company of the ladies. Whilst FKK clubs do not take a cut of ladies earnings, if visitors do not buy sexual services then the ladies may leave for other venues. It’s therefore vital the premises are comfortable, enjoyable and erotic.
Men visit FKK Sex Clubs because they can live out a fantasy experience. Designed as a spa for men, visitors can relax and escape daily reality. Being able to look at and interact with beautiful naked girls is a unique and valuable experience for most men.
Unlike a standard brothel where you are only introduced to a few available ladies, or an escort agency where photos are blatantly edited, FKK clubs allow men to view up to 100 potential sex partners at once in the flesh before making any decisions.
Being able to find your perfect fantasy girl, due to the many sizes, shapes, ages and nationalities available in German FKK sex clubs, is a big selling point for visitors.
With wellness facilities there is no need to rush. Men can have sex with numerous ladies in a single day, due to being able to relax and recover between sessions.
It is also easy to live out sexual fantasies at FKK sauna clubs, such as public sex, threesomes or trying sex positions which are not offered by girlfriends or wives.
What type of people visit FKK Saunas?
Who uses FKK sauna clubs was always a question that intrigued me before I found out myself.
Visitors of FKK Sex Clubs in Germany and Austria are of all ages, sizes, ethnicities and backgrounds.
The venue you visit will have an impact on the visitor demographic. For example, at Artemis in Berlin you are more likely to find younger men in their 20s and 30s, whereas at Mainhattan in Frankfurt the clientele are mostly in their 60s and 70s.
Men from around the world, of all skin colors, religion and wealth, travel to enjoy legal prostitution with beautiful women in Germany’s sex clubs.
What you look like does not matter when it comes to visiting an FKK sauna club. However, sex workers can and will refuse service to men they believe are unhygienic. You should try to make an effort in your looks, including trimming thick pubic hair (especially if expecting oral) and clipping nails. Having showers to ensure you do not smell bad is also important.
In FKKs you will not be judged, as everyone is very liberal in their views towards paid sex. Everyone is there to relax and have a good time, including the ladies. You do not need a six pack or large penis to make the ladies want to have sex with you. There is no need to feel self conscious.
Personal questions are unlikely to be asked as discretion is always respected. For this reason, some visitors may have girlfriends or wives, but this does not matter at the FKK Sauna Club.
How much do FKK Sauna Clubs cost?
If you are looking for cheap sex in Germany then going to an FKK Sex Club is probably not the best answer. FKK Sauna Clubs are not cheap.
If you are looking for quick, cheap and legal prostitution in Germany then you could consider laufhaus brothels, where oral and sex costs an average of just €50.
The average man is likely to spend €250 – €350 per visit to an FKK Sauna Club.
You should think of FKK clubs as an experience, a luxury which you can spend your money on to create memories which could last a lifetime.
When considering the price of FKK Sauna Clubs you need to consider four things: the entrance fee, alcohol, wellness extras, and the girls. It is up to your personal preference how much you spend.
Entrance Fee: €40 – €90 per day
Alcohol: €5 – €10 per drink
Wellness Extras: €25 – €75 per massage
Sex: €50 – €150+ per session
It’s also important to consider the travel costs involved in getting to the FKK club. Many venues are outside of city centres, meaning you may have to rent a car or taxi to get there.
Tips for visiting an FKK Sauna Club
1. Be respectful
Be polite, kind and respectful of the ladies and staff at FKK Sauna Clubs. Treat them as humans, not whores or robots. Be aware that the girls are there to make money, so allow them to pursue other customers if you are not paying for her time. Be mindful to clear up after yourself, such as placing used towels in the correct laundry baskets. For obvious reasons, phones are strictly prohibited from FKK premises and must be kept in lockers.
2. Always be hygienic
It’s an unwritten rule that customers of FKK clubs should shower before and after each sexual interaction, ensuring they are completely clean and fresh at all times. It’s also important to be presentable, which could include trimming pubic hair and clipping nails. You don’t have to be attractive to have fun in FKK sauna clubs, but you should make an effort.
3. Play time only at pay time
Whilst touching the girls may be absolutely fine when you are in a session with them, this does automatically not give you permission to touch before or after the session. Unless a girl invites you touch her when not in a session, it is usually best not to. If in doubt, ask… consent is sexy!
4. No means No
Every working girl at an FKK club has the right to refuse service without giving a reason. If a lady says no you should respect this, or expect to be thrown out of the club. This goes both ways – if you tell a girl no at the club she should respect that.
5. Safe sex only
Condoms are provided by the sex workers and the use of such is a non-negotiable for penetrative sex. Never ask for bareback sex at a regulated FKK sex club – doing so could result in you getting kicked out of the club without refund. The ladies at FKK brothels respect their health, and you should respect yours too.
What are the best FKK Sauna Clubs?
When choosing the right FKK club for you, it’s important to consider what you want.
Some clubs are big and busy, where the ladies will approach you to request a private session. Other clubs are much smaller and intimate, where men are expected to approach ladies and not vice-versa. There are differences in cost, in number of sex workers, and facilities are different.
This is not an exhaustive list, and is ultimately down to personal preference, but here is a selection of top quality FKK Sauna Clubs in Germany and Austria:
